I always wish I could have seen a game in old Tiger Stadium.

I was born in Royal Oak, MI and lived in Mt. Clemens until family moved to LA when I was in the 6th grade. I went to many games at the old Tiger Stadium as a kid and it was awesome. This was back in the late 60’s and early 70’s so we are talking about the Al Kaline years. Good times!

In what seems like another life I won a yearlong sales award that was a trip to the Super Bowl in Detroit. After accepting the plaque, I pulled the VP of Sales aside & told him to give the trip to #2.
Need I say more?

Went to a wedding there. Cool old place. Lots of cool old places in Detroit.

Swing by to see the progress on the old train station. Think Ford bought it to turn into some sort of HQ.

they still have houses for sale for like $12k?

You can buy an entire block of them for like 100 bucks but you’ll be on the hook for back taxes owed and they’re rundown and full of crackheads

Plenty to do in Midtown, Corktown, Downtown and the waterfront. Just don't walk around like a tourist with your head up your arse and you'll be fine.

All of the Grosse Pointes are probably some of the nicest areas. The houses on Lake St. Claire are extremely nice and would be awesome to live in. Plus you gotta go to Mister A's off of Mack Ave and get a bloody glove (Chicken parm sandwich).
