We didn't speak for 2 years and they stopped paying for anything, so yeah, they disowned me.

Oh okay, but yall eventually got back on better terms?
Parents deciding to "disown" their child for awhile doesn't really sound healthy. In general, it seems like it would result in the child being even more rebellious.

My great aunt lived off of Winbourne until she died. She refused to move.
