Best I got is a girlfriend won an all inclusive trip to Talledegga from an Olive Garden drawing that we both entered. Great trip and it was hard to believe she actually won it.

I buy $100 worth of tickets for a charity raffle every year. Won zip until year 5 when I got a t-shirt. Told my wife to be careful with it. It cost $500.

When I was a kid there was a raffle at Alex Box Stadium for a basketball signed by about 10 or 12 HOF NBA players and a football with about 15 HOF NFL players. Two separate raffles. My dad bought a few tickets from a guy he knew for each raffle.
We had season tickets for about 10 years in the old Box growing up, but for whatever reason we couldn't make this game.
The first raffle was the basketball and they picked my dad's name. A few innings later they did the football and they picked his name again. Everyone started booing apparently and said give it someone else
I still have both of those balls sitting in my house.
Basketball has Dr J, which is probably ly the most notable. I'd have to go look at the football for who all is on that one. I think it may have George Blanda on it.

I had a friend buy me a lottery ticket, this past Feb, for my birthday and I won $5,000. We were heading over to his house, after dinner, to watch the end of the UGA bball game and then UK game. He stopped for a six pack and walked back out to the car and handed me the ticket. At the end of the UGA game he said to scratch the ticket and at first it said $500 but then my other friend pointed out the "multiplier" at the top and when I scratched it off it said X10 for the $5,000 payout.

Guy I know won one of those million dollar sweepstakes about 15 years ago. Not kidding. He submitted proof of purchase for the item that was sponsoring the raffle never expecting to win. One day about six months later he received the call and was convinced it was a scam.
He ended up with roughly $700,000 after taxes and paid off all his debt, kept working and paying himself each paycheck. He’s now 48 and semi-retired.

Won a trip for a week to ambergris caye. Won it through the hotel we always stay in. I think we won because they wanted my bar bill for a week.
The first year the scratch off lottery tickets were available, I won $5000 from the circle k by the chimes.
And lastly. Even though I had to buy the tickets, I won the masters lottery last year.
