Well it appears that the medical industry and some tech jobs (depending where they're located) are impervious to recessions.

2016 so far is scary slow and more projects are dropping off the radar.
I left O&G when things started getting slow in 2008. I make a good bit less than I could but I don't think I'll ever have to worry about having a job.
