Hey do you think it'd be ok to use some voltaren gel on it?
Never heard of this. Does it truly help with deep shoulder pain? If so, is it available over-the-counter?

Man that sounds awful. And what scares me about surgery. People are almost never as good as new after with scar tissue and possible arthritis. I'm not old enough

You're ignoring me.
Drew Brees seems just fine.

Voltaren is an Rx topical typically used for pain on, for example, RA patients.

I've been through this and still have it at times. Went to an ortho doc. Had X-rays. Got a shot and it hurt for a day but then it helped briefly and the pain was back.
Dr then recommended physical therapy. Went about 6 weeks. They gave me resistance bands and some exercises to do. Also got a foam roller. Said sitting at a desk leaning over all day doesn't help and I like to sleep on that shoulder too. Just pay more attention to my posture during the day and will do my PT exercises when it starts acting up.

I've been taking Advil and aleve with zero relief, just trying to help with inflammation
This voltaren actually makes the pain inside my shoulder completely disappear
It is prescription though. My grandma uses it for her knee and had an extra tube. I read some reviews that it's expensive but they could've been old. And it's not approved for shoulders but my doctor didn't object

You mean like how he just reinjured his rotator cuff and had pain and weakness
Yep good as new. No problems

Well he's on a 3 game winning streak in the NFL and had one hell of a game last week.
You planning on getting tackled repeatedly by large men every weekend?

I figured I'd get PT today
I freaked out about the shot. But it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated

I've had one in my shoulder and one in my knee. Shoulder worked, but knee didn't give any relief. Took about two weeks to work though.
