I can't fricking stand him, and have gotten shite on by the M/TV Board about it before.
I don't think he's particularly funny, I don't think he's a good host (despite hosting every show ever for years now), and he's awful on Family Feud (which boggles me that most people love him on there).
Note: I have no idea what kind of person he is. He may be the nicest person in the world. I just can't stand his persona on TV.

Never met the guy. Yeah he appears to be a nice guy but you just automatically assume he is a great guy because of his persona on TV. His job is being Steve Harvey so I am sure he is very protective of his public image.
