Sorry for late bump here.

Guy was my friend and we were really close for most of MS and HS. His behavior disgusts me, but it’s a guy that through a lot of life with me. While I think his sin is grievous and awful, I have different struggles that are probably more acceptable to the world. I struggle with wanting to bang curvy brunettes. If I do that, other than cheating on my wife, most of the world isn’t going to care that much. My desire is a lot more acceptable in the eyes of the world. It’s all sin.

It’s not a popular opinion, but I want repentance, counseling, and forgiveness for him and those that struggle. Not to be condemned to have those feelings forever and never having a path to redemption.

The above is in no way an excuse or making light of the evil of what he or others did. I acknowledge that it’s entirely different and has much worse consequences than my desire to sleep with other women.
