Yeah. We went watched "Scream" in theaters, she was the daughter of one of my mom's coworkers. She was also deaf and my mom felt bad for her, it was awkward and I wasnt told till the last moment about all of that.

Several times. The worst was to an LSU game when I was a freshman. She had an allergic reaction to peanut dust and got an ambulance ride.

Blind jokes aside, back in the day I was set up with a number of blind dates, or asked out as a date/escort (such as to proms, banquets, and other events).
I can only remember one that didn't go so well. My very first blind date (to a prom) was very pretty but ignored me in favor of her friends. Meanwhile, I chatted up one of her friends and ended up dating her afterwards. On the other hand, I had blind dates who turned out to be their university's Homecoming queen, several legit swimwear models, and a former Miss USA "Most Photogenic". I was not told of the status of their looks before the dates.
