There is probably some truth in it, when I was divorced and living in a apartment my neighbor was a nice looking girl in her 20s. She was engaged to her longtime college boyfriend who was in law school and would only come stay with her every other weekend. She was seeing two guys on the side, a "biker dude", and another that would fit the stereotype of a Latino drug dealer.

Ha, well certainly. But that's not really how it works. Most people date for a couple months or a year then take a break. So you date someone for 6 months, then you bang 6 people over the next 5 weeks, then you date on and off for a couple of months, then stay with someone again for awhile. Again, not that hard to get to 10 in a year and not be totally abnormal in todays world.
I've been out of the dating scene for long time, but hell people post on here there's something wrong if you aren't getting laid by the 2nd or maybe 3rd date at most.

Yea I know it happens in bursts, but getting to 150+ is not normal for a potential long term partner.
Nothing wrong with having that many, but dont expect your partner to think nothing of it.

Had a buddy ask his gf who was coming off a divorce to her high school sweetheart. He told us her answer was 3. Believable in the circumstances. However, in a separate conversation about birth control, she said she didn't think she could get pregnant because her and her ex tried for a while. Another friend cuts in and starts giving him shite about how much sex they were probably having while trying for a baby.
Moral of the story - even a low number can be used against you by your buddies.

As a bartender in college, being married once, an single and successful, I trust very few women. They are out there, but very few and far between. I have no issue with numbers. Could care less at my age, but I'm not like these idiots believing their wives have only been with 2-3 people.
