I'm gonna have to see the numbers to agree with this.
The numbers are 49% of all black males and 38% of all white males are arrested before they turn 23. The number who are arrested, wiped off the record and not admitted is probably far higher.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Almost half of black males and nearly 40 percent of white males in the U.S. are arrested by the age of 23, according to a study in the journal Crime & Delinquency.
The study, released Monday, and which was led by Robert Brame, a criminology professor at the University of South Carolina, analyzed national survey data collected from 1997 to 2008 that looked at the arrest histories of teenagers and young adults from truancy and underage drinking to more serious and violent offenses. The data excluded arrests for minor traffic violations.

Yes. Overnight for a DUI after BB regionals at Left Field Lounge. DUI thrown out due to lack of probable cause for getting pulled over.

Once last year. Had a party at our apartment only thing there was alcohol. Was a pretty dumb reason to throw someone in jail.

For you guys that think DWI expungements cannot ever be , ever be found. I know a guy that applied as a tanker driver at a company that hauls very hazardess chemicals, so past driving record and criminal history is very important to this company. A question on the employment application is " have you ever had a DUI conviction?". He had one 20 years ago that was supposed to be expunged and wiped completely off his record. So he answered no. He was at oriontation for the company and a human resourses person came and pulled him out of class, and asked him if he ever had a DUI. He answered no. The HR person then recited to him the date of the DUI and the locale where it happened. The company immediately dismissed him and told him to leave the property. When he got home he had a criminal background report pulled on himself and it didn't show up, but this company had some source where they were still able to find out about it.
BTW, the HR person told him that if everything else on his record looked good, they would have hired him as long as the DUI was at least 10 years old. They fired him because he lied about it.

Wow. I would fess up to it if it was for a LEO job but would probably not disclose otherwise.

I am not sure why people think they just go away. If you've ever seen a printout of your record from the LSP, or looked at a police computer, it never goes away. Every one of your arrests is on your record.
Some dinky background checks won't show your whole record though

I think you are pretty spot on but most employers can't get arrest records without pulling some sneaky behind the scenes shiz.

Most bigger companies have security guards that are ex cops and have access to it. You really just have to look at a cop computer. It's as simple as that
