Still trying to figure out the meal planning. So far lots of steak and chicken (generally try to do a Greek chicken recipe on a grill using olive oil to stay away from seed oils as much as possible). I’ll have a bun less hamburger every once in a while but that gets pretty boring. I’ll also cook a simple fajita recipe usually with chicken but could be beef also. This uses olive oil also. I don’t really miss the tortilla for that. I make kind of a bowl with some cheese, sour cream and/or guacamole
I still eat vegetables so not really carnivore in the purest sense. I have some eggs and sausage or bacon at breakfast if I am hungry but often don’t eat breakfast. Supposedly doing various egg recipes is a good thing to do but haven’t started that yet
I have a bad sweet tooth so mainly staying away from. Chips, crackers, any sweet and soft drinks. Pretty much limit anything in a box package or can. That change is what I feel most (in a positive way). I got past the cravings pretty fast and am not hungry with all the fats in the diet

It is a whole foods, elimination diet, it's just not a politically correct one.
Yep, "meat eaters are bad".
Eliminating Seed Oils is a big part of eliminating processed food.
Many of the Seed Oils & other toxic crap that's legal in food in the USA are not permitted in food in Europe.
Compare Nutrition Labels of Food Items in the USA vs Europe and you will see the difference.

I've heard the diarrhea is terrible for a long while to start, so no thanks
Thereafter it was one voluminous, healthy rock hard turd per day.
But hey, there's always ozempic. Nobody blinks when you tell them you're injecting medicine to not eat, but tell them you eat a whole food carnivore diet and you'll get diarrhea for 2 weeks and then feel the best you've ever felt and shed weight like it's nothing, and they call you a lunatic.
It's demonized because of a few retracted, faulty studies with an agenda because cow farts are destroying polar bears and we need to be taxed to fix it. "The psyop" is often overblown, but that doesn't mean it's not there.
The poors aren't supposed to eat ribeyes and eggs, but they'll be glad to let you buy synthetic hormones to inject into your abdomen. Taxed, of course.

My local grocery store (WD) sells tri-tip and picahna for the same price as a single ribeye or t-bone most days. So I buy the tri-tips and picahnas, and eat on those for 2-3 days. Also buy roasts when they're on sale and freeze. My wife will eat that with a baked sweet potato and butter or a salad.
I grill lots of chicken thighs and pork chops.
Flat-iron steaks from Walmart grilled medium rare are essentially a better flavored and fattier version of filet, at like $8/steak.
Eggs cooked in butter.
Yogurt.
I make my own kefir too.
You'll find you don't eat as much, so it ends up costing no more than a grocery trip with a buggy full of junk, usually less for me. Plus you're in and out of the store in just a few minutes.
This is literally what my grocery list says:
Salad stuff (for wife)
Fruit (for wife)
Sweet Potatoes (for wife)
Meat
Sea Salt (if needed)
Cheese
Milk
Plain Greek Yogurt
Butter
Eggs

Smoked to 110 at 225 on my Req-Teq and then reversed seared to 130. I prefer those over a Ribeye any day of the week.

I find them in the 1/2 off bin at Albertson’s all the time. I’ll pay $4.50/lb all day long- it’s easily my favorite cut of beef, and it only takes a couple of hours on the smoker.

No, I can't afford to eat much meat.
Think of all the shite you wouldn’t have to buy if you actually took the plunge.
When you avg it out, it is not expensive. You learn you can buy brisket to make cheapo steaks or roasts and cut the fat cap off to make tallow - no real need to buy butter after that.
Ground beef and cheap eggs are far better to eat than 99% of the rest of the store.

A good picanha is hard to beat..
That's normally how I prepare mine..
I have specialty meat store close to my house and that guy always has Wagyu Denver cuts.. that's another underrated/ unknown steak that should get more attention
