I own a lab and she hasn't "snapped" in a angry way. She has nibbled on them playing. The kids like to rough house with her and she plays with them a lot. Hell, the dog plays tag with the kids and for some reason seems to know when she is "it".
The first time a dog snaps at a kid they are over, don't care what breed.
