Has this made anyone else’s life a lot easier?
Our industry is considered essential. I'm in sales and absolutely love working from home. Daily, from my Corp. Office to the customers that I deal with, - everyone is a little less demanding and more flexible. Plus, traffic is at a pre-Katrina level.
For years, I've been pushing to have remote access via VPN from my house to hit our servers. Kept getting shot down because some jackass in sales in another market did some shady shite, got fired, and VPN access was taken away.
Now that I have it - its time for me to shine. Hopefully, after this is over, I'll be able to at least work from home a few days a week.

The husband is working from home in our bedroom, he's actually doing really great- which we were concerned about. He's never worked from home, so he was afraid he would have trouble focusing. The other day, I walked back there- and he told me he loved it and may never go back to the office again.
I think many companies may realize all the money spent on offices is totally unnecessary. Maybe this will change the way businesses operate.
For me, it sucks. I have a small cleaning service, and I am not essential. I am out a lot of money, but have gained so much time and to be honest, I needed the break.
