Well I've been to Little Rock and it's a marginal step up but good for you for reaching for the stars. Have an up vote.

Eta I have fat fingers and accidentally down voted. Just remember it was really an up vote. Now you will sleep better.

Don't want to stay here either, but it's been so much better. I don't think I've sat in traffic once since moving. Shooting for Tennessee or Texas after I finish though

I think it's somebody who has been severely underrepresented by his native city all these years: FATS DOMINO.

you're so pathetic

Yea, new orleans is so boring and lame. Can't think of anything to do. Now that they took down the statue everyone just goes to Wal Mart to hang out like any other bland locale across the country.

Already a statue of glassman in front of Finns

Nah that's actually glass. His body couldn't take any more beating. They brought him to a taxidermist so his presence will be eternally preserved.

How about Sherman, the first president of what would later become LSU, or Lincoln, or the Kingfish, professor Longhair, a Coushatta or Houma Indian statue, Paul Tagliabue, the guy that kept Benson from whisking the saints to San Antonio, and/ or Buddy Diliberto.

Wow, you sure do have lofty goals? Leaving Louisiana for Arkansas, then hoping to eventually wind up in Texas or Tennessee! Do you think you set your goal too high? One should not set personal goals so high that they cannot be achieved. My ultimate goal is to move back to Orleans parish, the place of my birth. Probably achievable. Good luck In all your endeavors. On a serious note: do you really consider Louisiana a notch or two below Arkansas?

Yes. You could 't pay me to live in louisiana again. I know you are being sarcastic but Louisiana sucks. I've never seen a state that is so arse backwards that it continues to cut from schools like LSU or ULL when they have schools being open that have under 6,000 students. The state is run by morons and aside from good food and fishing it has nothing else going for it
