Considering all the evil and suffering that occurs while god stands by and watches, he's either a monster or impotent. Fortunately, there isn't a shred of evidence that she exists.
First of all the devil exists too. Second of all you do not know how God operates, none of us do. That's why it's called faith. God is not human so to try and understand from human logic will never give a human acceptable answers.

No, the devil does not exist. No evidence of that either. As for the "we don't understand how god works.." That's a lie. Believers claim all kinds of nonsense that they do "know how god works." Only when pressed to explain silliness do you then cry "we don't know how he works."
Finally, faith is never a good trait. Never.
Believers need new material.

I was doing laundry in one of the LSU dorms about 4 days after my last living grandparent died. Naturally I used up 4 of the 6 machines I think. I put it in the washer and went up to my room to take a nap. Came back about 3 hours later and it was all dried and folded completely. Despite the fact that I used several different machines, it was all folded into one large pile.
I realize it was probably some guy who needed the machines and was just in general a kind hearted enough person person to fold it all. But I still looked up and said "thanks grandma" just cause I like to believe it was her.

Im talking about where you have no doubt that He fixed something, changed something, answered a prayer, healed you or someone, talked to you?

God works in mysterious ways, that's all I know, but he has done some things in my life that let me know he's there. That's as deep as I want to delve into it. I try and keep the spiritual aspect of my life in the forefront and when I do things go well, that's all I need.

Last July was 1.5 months shy of the 1 year anniversary of our miscarriage. My wife was praying about our future, specifically how it related to children. While praying she was given the distinct message from God that she would be pregnant within 6 months, and that it would be a boy. We were not trying, and never went out of our way to try. Never tried to time ovulation. No fertility clinics. All we did was have sex whenever we felt like it, and didnt when not. We went with the "if it happens, it happens" philosophy. According to the doctor's pregnancy timetable which she gave us, we conceived on either December 29th/30th. So 1 month before the 6 month time limit. 6 weeks ago we found out it was a boy. She told me this the same day. We also told our families, and not an insignificant number of friends, what God had told her. She even wrote it down in her journal. Albeit written in August. You can say whatever you want about our situation. I do not expect a single non-Christian to believe this story. It happened exactly as I tell it. As I said, we did not try to make this happen, though we also did not try to prevent it.
I believe 100% of what you said but that is the law of attraction working, not a Christian God. Putting thoughts like that into the universe works for anyone, thoughts become things. I don't know if it is God, all I know is it works just as well without thinking about God. Since the law of attraction works so well it causes people to believe in their religions.

You don't know this.
I agree with the rest of your post. Considering that. How do we know faith is even a requirement? We don't know how he operates. No one on Earth has ever met God. If we had.. there would be no such thing as faith or religion. It would just be a fact.

I remember back in the summer 1972 was coming back from Monroe and came upon a small town. The road curved to the right to go thru town and curved back to the left. I remember going into the town and going thru the only stop light they had. That's the last I remember and what felt like a tap on my shoulder. I had fallen asleep and when I woke up was on the other side of town and was in the northbound lane heading south. Woke up and there was an eighteen wheeler staring me in the face. Wife was asleep too in passenger seat. I know it was God that saved us from dying that day.

Wrong! We know God works in mysterious ways. Based on your entry you out.
BTW, this country built "Faith". You must be one of those ignorant millennials.

Give us all a break with The Secret gibberish. What a con.
I agree that a positive attitude is the best avenue to succeed in life but, its not linked to a cosmic force. New Age lunacy.

Open heart surgery in 2008. Due to a post op problem they gave me too much of the same stuff that killed Michael Jackson. I didn't see M.J. .. thank God, but I saw God. Heaven is beautiful beyond belief.

Like I said, I have no idea how it works but that shite works. It sucks for you because you will never get to experience it with that attitude.

Yeah, Right. When Hindus have near-death experiences they see Vishnu.

There is no evidence that you exist either. You may be nothing more than an alter.

That's rather assumptive. I experience the fruits of a positive attitude all of the time. I'm just not credulous to think its a cosmic reason.
