As opposed to an acceptable level of ODs? Play with fire and all that...
If you're too stupid to know H and meth are bad, you deserve what you get. Don't need those people shitting in the shallow end of the gene pool anymore anyway

Close, but wrong. More like a bad joke as these threads turn into the same debates with the same posters.
I stopped trying to argue with people on this subject a long time ago. People have their minds made up and debating it on the internet certainly isn't going to change it

Nobody can help them but themselves. Rehab is a joke

I don't really hate drugs exactly but if you've gone to shooting heroin you've crossed a line imo.
I don’t know anything specific about the current problem in South LA, but it’s becoming more frequent that dealers are pressing pills of fentanyl and junk powder and selling it as Roxys or other opiates. It’s being going on for awhile but maybe a batch of those came to the area. They often mix them with benzos and it a very bad combination. I have a bit more sympathy for someone that thought they were popping a couple of pain pills vs someone that was shooting up. Drug abuse either way, but one seems far more gone than the other.
Anyway, just stating what I’ve heard in recovery circles.

The fake pressed pills is a much bigger problem than heroin dealers cutting their shite incorrectly and killing a handful of users. That doesn't happen nearly as often as people think it does.

bad batch of heroin that had high levels of fentanyl
Imagine if you were a junkie with a high-dollar life insurance policy. If you shot up the laced heroin, but your wife had some Narcan in her hand...
What do you think would be the first thing she would buy with the insurance money?
