Willie Davenport in bobsled.
Wiki says he was born in Alabama, but he graduated from Southern and lived in BR thereafter, and was living there when he was on the 1980 team.
I went to school with his nephew briefly and actually went to a birthday party for him at Willie's house.

Brenna Huckaby is from b.r. and was a promising gymnast , even had D.D. Breaux going to some of her meets. Got cancer in her knee and lost the leg.
Is now a world champion snowboarder with numerous golds in the para-olympics .
Not the regular Olympics but still quite a feat !
