Perception is reality and humans are masters of self delusion so I'm sure we can convince ourselves we have been victimized by our spouses regardless of the situation.
The thread about how many times the average married guy got laid was startling. Lots of sexually starved guys walking around out there...throw an open faced roast beef sandwich at him and he's gonna eat...and keep going back for more.
That's just the facts of life. We don't generally make decisions, we react to chemicals.
