Has anyone heard of the Lagniappe Children’s Foundation before?

I was contacted by the CEO of said foundation to help their cause. His information shows he’s been the CEO of the organization since 2010, yet I can’t find ANYTHING online about them.
Their website seems legit so I’m wondering if he’s just now getting it off the ground and is serious about organizing into a fully developed foundation with an online presence?
Regardless, I know the OT is comprised of bleeding hearts that would have surely heard of this foundation, and I want your input. Thoughts?

Daniel Lowery is a liar and a whore.

They're listed on the LA Secretary of State website as a non-profit, in good standing, and Daniel Lowery is listed as an officer. Seems pretty likely its legit to me
ETA: well there isn't much else about them I could find. SOS says they were registered in 2008 but I'd think a 12 year old charity would at least have SOME info about them online besides their own website/social media

I bet you haven't even been contacted by the prince of Nigeria yet. Better hold out and weigh your options.

Reminds me of George Costanza's Human Fund.

I heard Lowrey was previously CEO of the Human Fund as well. He's had a successful career.

Yeah a bunch of links of no data. Thanks- I’ve visited all of those pages. Empty shells triggered by the creation of their public registration.

He contacted me too...but I haven’t bothered to research yet, as my flexible sponsorship dollars are pretty much laid in for the year. Is he sketchy?

Who doesn’t love Lagniappe, child?
13 donuts when you’re expecting only 12?

He doesn’t seem to be right off the bat, but it’s odd that I can’t find any online presence, news articles, etc if he’s truly been the CEO since 2010.
