I want to bring some pens and edibles back and I understand it's pretty much allowed. Is it worth the risk?

Yes but you have to smoke a lot.

I've flown out of WA with a vape pen but that's it.

Disregard if you just want answers on CA and Co

Is that the official statute? If not, don’t get put on a “no fly” list over something you can buy almost anywhere

Dude...don’t do it.
You get substantial jail time for shenanigans which involve flying.

No. There are signs, warnings, and amnesty boxes. Not even when you fly between legal states

No it is not allowed outside the state (even if you are flying to another "legal" state).

Denver airport TSA is aware of this and has the sniffer dogs to bust you.

All day everyday. Put your cartridges with you nicotine cartridges. Don't carry flower unless you got balls as big as me. It's fine.

Plenty of folks have tried, and plenty of folks now have felony charges for transporting illegal drugs across state lines.

I fly out of DIA a lot, and I almost always spot drug dogs. I would advise against it.

Edibles are easy. Just put them with chewable vitamins.

Seems a lot more risky than just buying it illegally back home.

TSA is specifically instructed not to search for weed.
