I got a 58/45 in Menifee podunk Arkansas 2 weeks before Christmas. Officer even called in backup from the next town over, about 7 miles away. I got the ticket $230 worth, I paid it by mail after calling the court and asking to change it to a non-moving violation. They said the only thing I could do was go to court and ask for defensive driving.

I paid the ticket, and a week or so later I got the copy of my ticket back, along with a receipt. Never have I seen that before. I just hope like hell now that they just wanted the money and it doesn't hit my insurance!!

yeah, showed up to court and the officer didnt

win

this is literally the only chance you have to win and in my area the judge just reschedules another court date when the officer can be there so there is no way to win in my area

pay it online and save the $150 court costs that they add if if goes to court. and most areas have a policy where they dont put it on your driving record if you just pay it to save everyone the hassle of court

I personally never have tried but I know a guy who's an RF/Radar engineer and Lt Col in the Alabama National Guard who was his own subject matter expert and provided his own expert testimony and beat one based on his knowledge of RF theory/application. Met this guy when I was officiating football in Alabama and he walked us through the "Reader's Digest version" of the situation one night when we were headed to a football game. Dude knew his shite. I was impressed.

Mom was health trouble 4 hours away, on track to make it there in 3. Trooper let me send proof documents to courthouse. $100 traffic class on-line and dropped the charges.

Yes, but it usually just rips apart and doesn’t offer much of a challenge. It did Nick my finger with a paper cut once. Pissed me off so I stomped it into the ground.

I just remembered I borrowed a guys truck to deliver a chair and apparently caught on camera van speeding. He told me to go take care of it and when I went in to meet with the magistrate. She couldn’t find my photo to prove I was driving and had to dismiss my ticket without any fee’s incurred.
