my first six years of driving in Louisiana resulted in 0 flat tires. in the last 2 years I've had six, all nails. this has been in Plaquemine Gonzales and Baton Rouge. just unlucky or is the criminal underworld involved in the tire business?

Maybe you didn't drive much in the first 6 years. Or you have a new job that had you on riskier roads for flats.

I'm hell on tires. I've also successfully bent two wheels. My wife never has a problem with tires, I drive her car and get two flats.

Been in Naples for over a year, not one flat, not one pothole. Lots of old people though, but they don't create flats.

Before moving to LA I had 1 flat in 15 years of driving. Driven in LA for 6 years now and have had at least 6 flat tires. I attribute the difference in flat tires because every week the streets in my hometown had a street sweeper come down and clean the streets. Excluding parades I've seen the street sweeper once in Baton Rouge.

I've never had a flat tire. I did take a huge chunk out of one near campus on highland. Hit the little drainage hole by the curb. I do drive a truck with all terrains though.

When you're 17 trillion in debt, things like paved roads are a luxury.
