Has anybody been following the Evergreen University Situation? UPDATE- GUMBO?

I think we know what escalated it. It was probably a disney type gumbo.
"This was a first. When the riots broke out amid claims of widespread institutional racism at the famously progressive college, Evergreen president George S. Bridges’s first move was to relieve protesters of their homework obligations, offer them free gumbo, and generally accede to their laundry list of demands for more diversity officers and mandatory anti-discrimination training for faculty. The last thing on Bridges’s mind May seemed to be holding any of those students responsible for the lawlessness that many Americans saw on the numerous videos of the protests that surfaced on YouTube and elsewhere."

I live down the road from Evergreen and I'm not following it. That place is a total joke. At one time it literally didn't have grades or a curriculum. They need to go private.

If you know your history, campus police departments were first developed to go into African tribes and steal babies for slavery. So yeah, it's pretty offensive.

Also, the word gumbo comes from the African word for okra so that definitely didn't help anything....

This probably isn't the thread for this general question, but:
What is the end game to all of this 'progressive' shite? At some point, it all conflicts itself. If the white guilt is taken to the extreme, those whites will basically end up as slaves to the blacks. The dumbasses will probably be too stupid to realize it.

The Brett Weinstein interview on JRE was excellent. The Evergreen situation highlights what happens when authority caves to the demands of the radical, misguided left.
