Makes sense that heat and humidity would impact the spread. But these people purport to model out things for each county in the US and every other country. You'll have to excuse me if I am just a bit skeptical of these types of models. So far, they have all been spectacularly wrong in overstating the danger and lethality of the virus. I'll take a wait and see approach on this.
More than anything, I am just tired of all this. Don't care about "new cases" anymore. It is past time to carry on and live our lives.

I could have saved those idiots the time invested to let them know that Texas/Louisiana Summer heat will kill any virus...

I hope this is correct. The thing that bothers me some is that Australia, in the Sourhern hemisphere, was in the middle of summer when the virus came around, and they were showing cases there at that time.

No place on earth is immune to the virus based upon weather. It’s the proximity of new hosts that determines its spread.

Wondering what they consider "hot and humid" up in Boston?
Off Topic: My dad was a Navy physician during the Korean War. Turned out the Ivy League medical schools in the 40's didn't bother with teaching about the diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases. Meanwhile, the deep south schools made sure that malaria and leprosy and other tropical diseases were well covered.

Well they are starting their winter, kids are in school, and it’s not exploding there yet so that’s a good sign.
