What's a "decent" range?

I could see the 130-mile range being a problem for most Harley owners though.

for some this would be true but most of the Weekend warrior type of riders I know this would be about right...

If I recall correctly... The Yamaha VMax has about this range... Of course you can refill the Vmax a lot quick than you can recharge...

Varies from bike to bike and how you ride them. I ride a 1700 Roadstar Silerado and get about 160-170 miles out of a tank.

My big issue would be my commute being 80 miles each way at the moment. I would need a charging station at work for this to make sense for me. Then there would be the premium compared to a gas model to contend with as well.

I'd still be paranoid going down the road on a totally silent bike. You ride like I do so I'm sure you've seen just how oblivious people can be to us. I'm a firm believer in the old adage that loud pipes save lives. I know they're not fool-proof but they do at least get the attention of most.

Hell no. If I were to ride I'd want a bike that is as loud as possible so nobody will pull out in front of me. This thing is a death trap.

I never took you for the oversensitive douchey type who get their panties in a wad over simple and common slang.

Ha
I'm not oversensitive. I mainly just love that gif.

The term cagers though is pretty bad man, but to each his own.

Its like someone calling a person wearing a tie in an office a "Sheep".

They still do. Happened to me about a month ago in broad daylight. Guy pulled right out in front of me. Soon as I saw him coming I laid down on my horn and swerved over into the left lane. It was a 4 lane and thankfully nobody was in that lane. He stopped midway across the right hand lane just in time. I missed getting killed by less than a foot.
