I know where they are. And they are the official temperature recordings for New Orleans.
Which is why I posted the map showing no sites within interior New Orleans with a low below 60 either.

TB, I’m feeling first chicken and sausage gumbo of the season. Should I pull the trigger or wait?

It's Front Day when it's Front Day.
Today is not Front Day.
Signed,
The NOLA Front Day Orthodox
PS . It sure is a beautiful day though.

The official low temperature for the city of New Orleans on October 19th, 2024 will go down in the history books at 64 degrees.
Lows of 64 degrees at MSY and Lakefront Airport. Where the official temperature measurements are taken.
This "Front Day" has been officially challenged. A recount is demanded. This sham cannot be allowed to stand solely because the so-called keeper of 'Front Day" hasn't been paying attention due to being distracted by all his whore strangling and shallow grave digging.* Mother, if there even is a mother (there isn't), should have her "Front Day" credentials stripped and her hot chocolate poured down the drain.

Friend,
This seems like a great thing to celebrate in our hot southern lands. Thank you for your story and tell mother I said hi.

I second the challenge. I have been bouncing between events in the Houma-Thibodaux area (Rougarou Fest, Acadia Music Festival, Dog Parades, etc. it is hot as balls working out here in the sun.

It has become a reincarnation of Lagniappe on the Bayou but with a Halloween theme and in Houma instead of Chauvin.
It is at the Civic Center in Houma and it is a big Halloween party. There were thousands of people out there. There is a parade happening tonight. It used to be downtown but it out grew the downtown area. It goes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
There was costume contest, a nutria pardoning (with Neuty), lots of food, music, and rides.
The South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center puts on the event.
There was even a Rougacon to trade cards and other things.

That actually sounds like a good time.

It is.
I saw people from everywhere. I saw some people from Franklinton and Shreveport. I could even hear a couple speaking in French. So Quebecois or Frenchmen are in town.

The Saturday rule is ridiculous and I reject it.
Imagine wondering through the spiritual desert that is summer in south Louisiana, finally feeling the sweet breath of our lord’s northerly salvation, and responding “thanks but this will have to wait until it coincides with a Saturday to count”

No one says you can't enjoy the beautiful weather.
But Front Day on a Saturday allows for gathering and sharing the celebration. And it must meet the Front Day requirements. All boxes must be checked.
Much as we try to be thankful everyday but gather together on Thanksgiving Day.
Practice patience. Front Day will be right on time.
But today was beautiful.

Today was indeed a spectacular weather day.

Misspelling of loup garou.
French for werewolf.
Likely someone with hearing problems came up with the erroneous pronunciation and people have continued that error.
