We had the worst defense in D-1 football this year. And we graduate our 4 best defensive players. There were times this year when we did not have a scholarship linebacker on the field. Let that sink in.

He was portrayed as an arse. And he may have been. But in real life, he seems like a stud.
I am not at all sure that just walking away from everything and living a totally selfish life isnt the worst idea ever conceived.
If I remember correctly, Karen and Hans were lovers. But Hans wanted to stay in Europe forever and raise babies and shoot pheasants and drink wine. And Karen couldn't see that for herself. And Bror shared her restless spirit. So they teamed up to go to Africa. She needed to be married to be accepted into Kenya society. And he needed her money. So, why not?

I kind of feel like we would all be better off if we didn't measure ourselves up against a standard of rules that society decides.
I mean. I guess it would be Lord of the Flies if we didn't have those expectations of how we should live our lives.
But everyone seems to get to the point when they think that their life doesn't measure up. But I wonder if that would happen if we weren't measuring ourselves up against someone else's standards.
