Can you imagine the courage it took for those astronauts to strap themselves on top of those huge Saturn 5 rockets??

He's no fraud.
He was the first astronaut to have a successful EVA (space walk/work), on Gemini 12, which helped paved the way for missions to the moon.
He was a little arrogant though, but I guess he had earned it !!!

In 1963 he was completing his doctorate at MIT this was the dedication from his dissertation on "Orbital Rendezvous".
."In the hopes that this work may in some way contribute to their exploration of space, this is dedicated to the crew members of this country’s present and future manned space programs. If only I could join them in their exciting endeavors!"
He had no idea at the time that only 6 years later he would be a astronaut, and the 2nd person to walk on the moon.

I knew a Doctor Buzz once, but mine didn't use a rocket to get high.
