I thought Don had graduated before they started having freshmen at OPHS.
Maybe he was just a year before me, again I thought more. Possibly because he literally seemed larger than life to me then

I pretty much named every other kid my age in town and country except me so that narrowed things down

Swartz was the only 9th grade to move up that year.
Don was bigger than life to me too.
Lots of stories. I played bball at OPHS also. Couple of years ago, current coach asked me back to talk to yhebteam about Don. His folks were there. It was special telling these kids about him.
