Does anyone know if there is actual info to expose? I guess the credit card info ? Sounds thin.

Because I'm curious if anybody I know is...or any politicians/religious leaders or public faces. Just curious. Scandals are interesting.

Illegally? NO

I agree I don't really like the fact this was done illegally but still, I don't have sympathy for cheaters.

fricking over the people in that list just to swing your internet big nuts and claiming you're some kind of modern day robin hood makes you a way bigger piece of scum than getting some side pussy

It's the same issue as Gawker outing the gay guy earlier this week. There are more layers than affecting one cheater

I think adultery is a bad thing, of course, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess that there are millions of AM users who have better marriages than the residents of Mount Pious in this thread.

I didn't say it was right or moral....it clearly isn't. But you want to hold something for ransom...I suspect this is pretty effective. I just can't believe this group isn't demanding money. (I bet they will be caught eventually....)

When I said it doesn't make sense, I wasn't talking about effectiveness. I don't see how you couldn't figure that out

Joined once for kicks (wife knew about it). The place was legit. I was surprised I got several offers despite not posting a pic of myself.

I'm not even religious and still think cheaters are one of the biggest forma of scum on the earth. I've disowned friends for it, I've called people out in front of their spouse for bragging like its an accomplishment. If you're not done fricking around don't get married

After reading some of the comments on reddit, the place is apparently full of bots. Not surprising really.

You sound like a chick. One of those chicks that sit in a beauty shop and gossip all day.

Yes, really. I don't know a single person in my personal life that has been murdered. All the people (mothers, fathers, children) that get murdered make me sad for 5 minutes, but then it really doesn't affect me. I was making this point as to how the other poster said that whatever people do behind closed doors doesn't affect others. I don't care about this hacker situation. Of course, it doesn't affect me, but does that make it right?

Never heard of this Ashley Madison chick.
If I wanted to get laid, I'd just find some snapper at church or the grocery store...
