mass shootings

Pretty sure this mass shooting won't get the same attention as some others.

I wonder why.

My son used to live at the complex next door. According to the map it's now called The Oliver Apartments. It was a decent enough place in 2012-13. Have they gone Section 8?

I lived at University crescent back around 2009 and it was your run of the mill college apartment. Never felt unsafe there

I lived at University Crescent (Oliver) that exact same year, my sophomore year. It was awesome and probably was the best year of them all for me. We had some idiots do some crazy shite at our complex, but never were there any shootings. Felt completely safe when I lived there. It is sad but I guess not surprising that it's turning to a war zone lately, even if it's close to campus. BR/LSU just seems to be turning to more of a shite hole by the day.

I’d imagine most of the ones that were fairly new 20 years ago have all gone S8. The area is saturated with apartment complexes and it was bound to happen.

The massive influx of all of the “luxury student housing” over the last 10 years has made all of the older “standard” student housing apartments take in more and more non-lsu students.

I mean, shite, the cottages has been renamed and hot potatoed to new owners what, 3 or 4 times by now? They were the complex that started the luxury apartment craze around lsu
