Will vouch for Asheville. Tons of awesome food, but it does get a little tiresome when everything has kale or acai or arugula or some other weird crap.... it's like they just do it to be weird. I love my mac and cheese, but i don't need it with soybean extract and lemons

Dude I spent 6 days in Nashville and Franklin last year and didn’t have one meal I didn’t enjoy. Nashville and surrounding areas is legit. Probably my second favorite city south.

I disagree. You can get the same food in any mid size city.

Dude! I've lived here since The eighties and it no different from any other mid size city you visit.

Is there some sort on controversy involving southern Living that normal people aren’t aware of? A southern magazine labeling New Orleans as best food is hardly something to discuss
