Groomsmen and Ushers: I've got 2 things in mind. Custom Cutting boards with their last names and also tailgating chairs with a cooler under the seat with their initials on the back. Should I get both or just one?

Didn't have ushers in mine. But, for my groomsmen I tried to think of something I'd like to have or something I needed. So, I found some nice leather travel cases for toiletry stuff like tooth brush, razor, etc. Then I had them stamped with their initials.

I was just in my sister-in-law's wedding and her husband got us all leatherman's with our last name engraved on the handle.

Another wedding I was in was my best friend's and he got us all huge camo duffle bags which has been great for out of town hunting trips because I can put my overhauls, boots, and pretty much all my hunting gear in.

I'd say just think about what YOU would want to get or need and go from there. If you are like your friends and you get something you yourself would like to have, chances are they are going to like them too.

I got my groomsmen the tailgating chairs with cooler under the seat, so I think that's a great idea.

Did not get my father in law or my dad anything, but only because I was expressly told by each of them not to do so.

I got the fiance/wife a pair of diamond earrings (which were her "something new") and a card with a heartfelt note written for her maid of honor to deliver on the morning of our wedding day.

I think flasks are played out, personally.

I agree, but when I have 11 guys...the list is kind of trimmed.

Does anyone know about how long it takes to get these flasks to come in?

There are lots of great gifts that aren't flasks that won't break the bank.

That's why I'm in this thread...trying to get ideas. I'm open to whatever. My friends would actually use flasks though.

Meant more to us because we weren't surrounded by the douchey members of our family.

Wasn't comparing my wedding to yours, I was comparing to our alternative.

My bad for not being clear.

I'd suggest a leatherman/gerber multitool.

Not sure what it would cost, but an engraved mini Maglite flashlight would be pretty cool IMO and definitely functional.

ETA: Here you can apparently get them for $25.

Good ideas. I got mine a 24 pack polar bear ice chest with their initials monogrammed and a bottle of each of their favorite liquor.

My wife's wedding day gift was an antique sapphire and diamond ring for the something old/something blue thing.

I bought my dad a weber kettle.

looks like $19.07 for me, if I'm understanding that correctly. Even better.

edit: 21.07

I think that's only if you get them all engraved with the same thing. Still not bad though, and I kind of wish I had thought of it a few months ago for my wedding
