re: Grief is a real Beach. The waves are inevitable. Don't let anybody tell you how to walk it

You inspired me to sign up and raise money for the suicide walk we have next fall.

Life is duality. Joy and suffering are two sides of the same coin. To live is to suffer loss. You start dying the day you are born. But spirit transcends everything. In reality you are never born and you never die. Life in this dimension is a waking dream. An illusion (Maya). We are just here to learn spiritually through the experiences of illusion.

Well that's nice for you. For a lot of people that ball remains the same size and just gets hit a little less often.

Can you share some details on this? I’m in the Houston area have been affected by suicides close to me. Can I assist in any way? I’ll walk, I’ll donate, whatever.

LINK
So this is where I signed up for the Knoxville walk. I have my husband, son, two dogs and 4 friends walking for some of it.
You don't have to raise money but I am asking for $250 and I already put $50 in. If I can't get the last $200 by October then I paid way to much for my LSU marketing degree.

No, that's too much!!!
I honestly don't know your name which is surprising since I know 100s from here.
But if you can share it real quick I'll add you on FB so you can see the link. But please don't send that much.

And this is just a reminder that as much as we can all be assholes on here when people need good friends the OT comes through.

I lost my dad when right after I turned 19. Took about 30 years to get over it more or less

Well said. I'm sure this will be very meaningful to quite a few people out there.

This piece by a Poet I correspond with has helped me through some dark times
Stephen Murphy-Before you push the chair
It speaks to me.
