Bruce Lee comes to mind. Chuck Norris, if only for the funny memes over the recent years. I love Jackie Chan because he's just awesome. Who you got?

Me as a child, when I got back to my room, after watching a kung fu movie. Duh...

Ohhhhh and oddly enough it would be me too if you asked about the best wrestler of all time...after my Saturday morning WWF fix.

Had to have. I mean, the laws of physics don’t apply to the guy, how the hell would Bruce stand a chance?

The real question is, how many pale skin white dudes with a reddish hint to their hair are named Carlos?

yeah I looked it up...him and Bruce never officially fought. In a ring anyway. They only worked out together.

Bruce Lee was a martial arts teacher and a actor, he never fought in any official competition, all has appearances at martial arts competitions were only demonstrations. It was rumored he fought in a private grudge match with another teacher, those that claim to have been there said he got his arse beat, but there is no real proof the fight actually took place. Bruce Lee was a highly skilled teacher, but stories of actual fights are nothing more than mythology created by his movie career.

I second that, Rickson Gracie is forgotten by most because he was before the time of publicity, but he is a true artist with BJJ. He would meditate in an extremely cold river and anyone else that would get in could not hang for more than five minutes. He would talk about conditioning your body to moving through pain instead of letting it detract you.
Like Bruce, he is a thinker and philosopher, and imo that is what seperates them from other great fighters.
There is a great documentary called “Choke” on youtube for anyone interested in more insight into a very unique character.

Jackie Chan doesn't get the credit he deserves bc he does comedy movies, but he is a great martial artist.

Also look up Tony Jaa

Jackie is awesome and he does his own stunts. He's also doing it at his age which is pretty incredible.
