You're right. There are no environmental problems at all in the world. Everything is liberal bullshite. All is well!
why is it so fricking hard to acknowledge something like pollution? pathetic man.

Just because you don't jump on the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch is larger than Texas and filled with garbage" bandwagon does not mean you disregard pollution as an issue. It is reactionary shite like

that makes people more opposed to these ideas.

I know you are being sarcastic, but honestly I feel pretty close to this statement. It just seems like there are so many other problems in the world, I just don't give any fricks about the "environmental problems" we have, many of which I think are made up or blown way out of proportion.

I keep hearing about this and have never seen an actual picture of it
its not solid at all, just an area where garbage seems to be attracted in a central location

First I heard of it was when the Malaysian plan went missing. Ships can throw trash in the ocean. That is just stupid.

This. Some dateline type show rode out in a boat and dragged nets across it. The trash isn't nearly as dense as it's made to sound. You could swim in it and not really know you were. It's worth noting because the currents push everything there, but it's not a big ball of floating trash.
