The night before I left for the USAF (not the academy but another school) shortly after graduation from LSU, I was hanging out with a group of friends and a guy came up and attempted to car jack us. He had just attempted to rob Sammy's on Highland but someone at the bar started screaming and he ran out. He came upon us, put the gun up moving it from person to person saying give me your car, we started arguing amongst ourselves as to whose car he would get and he just stopped and asked if we would give him a ride out of the area, he didn't want our cars and he explained the attempted robbery to us. By that time the BRCPD rolled up 5 deep and had us all on the ground calling us faggots with guns pressed in the back of our heads telling us we were going to get raped in prison and using every curse word they knew. By the time they realized we were victims and we all have statements against the guy, not a one of them apologized for the way they treated us. Sammy's reported ONE robber, what made them attack us all, and the way they did it makes me believe a lot of these stories I hear having been treated that way myself.
