The problem with the photo it shows each individual either has poor judgment or a willingness to be lead into a bad situation through peer pressure. Neither one of them is a proper trait for a CO.

I understand the sensitivity on this. The state has Virginia in its name so they have to work harder to avoid negative connotations.

It seems like a formal written reprimand and sensitivity class would have been better. Firing them all is overkill.
If all these people are Nazis or members of some other hate group the state has a much bigger problem if it hired them and trained them together, and firing this class isn't going to solve it.
All this did was cost state more money and cause less trust considering if an entire class is some kind of hate group deserving to be fired no one is going to think that's where it ends.
