Don’t let the beautiful girl suffer.

My GSD had the same. Wasn’t easy.

That's never a good day. I still have all the dog tags of the ones I've had since I was a toddler. Going on four now.

It is never easy to loose a pet. By the same token it has never been hard to do the right thing. My vet told me years ago 'you will know when the time has come'. He was 100% right. You know when the time has come. Don't be selfish. End your loyal companion's suffering. Cherish their memory.

My prayers go out to you and your pup as it crosses the Rainbow Bridge.

When the time comes, the best breed of dog is one that you adopt from a shelter or rescue organization. Remember, dogs are pack animals. Do your departed pet a favor and adopt a pair. After all, no love is greater than that of a dog.

Take care brother!

We had her euthanized yesterday afternoon. The grief isn’t far behind losing mom and dad. I miss her terribly and the house seems empty and quiet. I keep looking for her at times. I ugly cried off and on last night and this morning. Not afraid to admit it.

I have a fantasy football draft thus Sunday with guys I’ve known for years and I’m not feeling it, same with college football kicking off this weekend. If you knew me, this is one of my favorite times of the year. But everything feels empty. I’ll get through it.

I really appreciate everyone offering good thoughts.
