Google earth dates

Is there any way to know what date they updated the views on google earth?

It's different for every image. Check the bottom right hand corner of the picture. Usually doesn't give the day, just month/year.

I was looking at water level on a lake and it showed 2015, so it didn't me any good. But this is the OT so I will play along for a little while.

Also, if you're trying to figure out if Jody has been around take a look at both the 3D and 2D images on Google maps. They typically are done are different times over the past year or so.
