I'm actually not Catholic having never officially went through the sacrament of confirmation.
I've been going to an Episcopal church which is pretty similar to Catholicism.
I don't take communion from the Eucharist on Sundays since it's a sacrament.
But anyone can go up to recieve Ashes due to it being Sacramental but not a sacrament

When I was growing up I was told that I shouldn't take Communion at the Presbyterian Church I was raised in because I hadn't formally joined said Church.

No I was just wondering if you were familiar with the commercials the black guy and his father son do on WAFF 48, in the mornings and evenings. They have a whole set of commercials where the father and son dress up for different occasions. They're so bad they're great.
