It was an honor at my Grandparents to crank the ice cream maker.At least I thought it was.
I clearly remember when one of my grandmother’s splurged for an electric one. Yep it was easier but then the ice cream was never quite as satisfying.
But that was back in the days when family would sit on the porch after swimming and take turns cranking.
