I saw Vanessa Williams at the Beau Rivage. Perfect voice, great venue.

That song Love is with Brian McKnight is one of the most perfect songs ever, at least in R&B.

Could you elaborate on this?

I never considered Jxn a great concert town. Partly b/c there was no big (white) university there. Some acts actually played Starkville since it had more college students.

I spent most of the '80s in BR, when there was a pretty good club scene. It wasn't Columbus OH, considered one of the great concert towns thanks to OSU, but not bad for it's size.

I GAF

If someone saw, say, Wilco I'd be interested to know if Jeff Tweedy was stoned out of his mind like he was when I saw them

I'd drop $300 in a heartbeat to be able to go back and see SRV live.

I was in both Jackson and Starkvegas. Jackson drew better shows…Van Halen , Kiss, Boston, Ozzy, Aerosmith, Zz Top, Journey, Heart are some I recall.

The Hump did have some good shows, too. Pat Benatar put on a great show while I was there.

Going to see Metallica and Limp Bizkit next Saturday in Nashville. Floor seat cost me $270 with taxes and fees included in that price.. That’s cheap on the third party market.

Concerts aren’t cheap anymore. Probably why all these buy now, pay later programs like PayPal and Affirm are doing well. Festivals have been doing layaway programs for years as well.

Nah, no bot would start something as moronic as your "How queer is pickleball lol" thread

Consider yourself cleared of all suspicion

I’m selective. There’s some bands from my childhood I’ll still go see.

Just went to AC/DC and I want to go to Metallica on June 14th especially since they rarely tour in US but I won’t make it to them

Yep, concerts were great in the late 80s and 90s, and I was broke. I probably went through 30+. Haven't been to one in 20 years bc they are definitely overpriced.

You’re constantly lost and confused in numerous threads lol. I’d be less worried about other people being annoying and more worried about how you can keep the frick up with what’s going on as you post lol
