Lol.. good idea. That's why people hurt their eyes. The sun is mostly covered up so it doesn't hurt like looking into the sun normally would.

Go to a camera store.
Buy some black and white silvermax film.
Open package and expose film by pulling out of the canister.
Hand film to clerk and say please develop this.
Cut the exposed-developed film into short strips.
Cover eyes with film and view eclipse.

Prolly $15 for enough to share with a couple friends.
