A lot of us on this board were where you are today. I was married for 11 years when my marriage ended (she cheated).
I enjoy being married, if something happened with this one, I would get married again ASAP. I kinda need it, someone to keep my head out of the clouds. I enjoy women's company.

I really wasn't planning on dating when I met my future wife. We met at a sporting event, got to talking and it has gone exceptionally well for 9 years.
The differences between my 1st and 2nd wives couldn't be more night and day. First marriage was waaaay too young (early 20's)

It sucked and was one of the lowest points in my life. But it gets better and you'll find it made you a better person bc you know what you want, and what to avoid the next time around.
Thanks, I’m not at the bottom of the pit like I was a few months ago but I know the wound he caused is a deep one that is gonna take time to truly heal before I can have a healthy serious relationship with someone else.
And yes, I will def be able to know what I need in another person.

Mine were awesome, didn't fight, etc. They just had bad taste in guys.
My first wife has been married 4 times. She's pretty awesome, just nit picky and not very affectionate.

Hey

No shame in spending time and not being alone. Was discussing that with my 69 year old coworker who’s getting ready to retire. He’d love to take a woman his age out to dinner here and there and spend a nice evening out.

If I marry again no way in hell will husband #2 be anything like my ex husband.
I’m already mentally making a list of dealbreakers for myself. Not saying I’m gonna be super picky cause I’m no spring chicken and not an OT 10, but more so I know what things in a person matter the most to me and that’s what I will be looking for.
OP....you have to give an update. Total loser move to start a thread like this and not do so fwiw.

The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.

Date went very well. She brought it up herself. He cheated and she left his arse after 6 months.
We’re going out again tomorrow.

That's exactly what I did after my first marriage. I broke it down into Must Have, Nice to Have, and Dealbreakers. The last column was easy but differentiating between the first two took some objectivity practice.
