How can anyone say that the godfather movies are the best movies in history? THey are way overhyped and overrated in history. They are horrible.

First off, fight me for saying The Godfather is overrated. Part I and II are two of the greatest movies ever in the history of cinema.

Each individual movie is really good at worst. 1 & 2 are great movies in the "one of the all-time greats" category. Almost universally considered the greatest original(not based on a book) movie series of all time.
