I can smell it a little bit but don't really taste it. Like I said I don't use much and mostly when I am frying an egg.

Coconut oil is extremely safe for your skin. People use it as a makeup remover, to make lotions/soaps, as a personal lubricant (NOT WITH LATEX CONDOMS), as chap stick, as massage oil, in hair to reduce frizz or add moisture, etc.

Its true, people use it for all kind of stuff.

My friend uses it to cook, but I prefer the fatty taste of butter.
