Mine has a 4.0 (maybe higher with all her honors, DE and AP classes). I didn't know that anything above a 4.0 really mattered but I guess it does. She also has 21 credit hours towards her degree already. I guess her ACT score is the one thing holding her back. She has a 29 on that. I didn't think she would get full ride but I did think she would get more than 500 bucks.

Yep. That is how she ended up at UF. They have a better engineering program than Free Shoes U and their engineering school is ranked 2nd in the SEC.

That's awesome. Congrats. For mine, they wanted full price, plus some heavy out of state fees. They made it clear she was not welcome.
