I'm a fan of cold/chilled pecan pie. For pumpkin pie, room temp.
However, I'll eat just about any pie at any temp. Don't have a sweet tooth, but I love pie. (Key lime, pumpkin, pecan, sweet potato)
Tomorrow my first meal will just be turkey, stuffing, ham and pumpkin pie (before it is gone).

im gonna give it a try this year. i have only made gumbo twice in my life. most recently wasnt too bad. i just need to get the roux/stock ratio better. i just started adding oil and flour in varying amounts like i was cooking gravy and ended up with more than needed i think. too think after i added the stock. i thought i fricked it up when i poured a little stock in and it clumped up like peanut butter.

gumbo will be good after getting rained on at the UT game on friday

I grew up on gumbo with roux but hate a roux as an adult.
Some ppl do a good rou, but a lot basically burn it and make their roux too dark.
