I imagine we will be able to pretty soon, I just know our facility is working very hard to get everything properly in place to do so to meet all the guidelines.
ETA: I don't see visitor restrictions being lifted ANYTIME soon in most hospitals around the country tbh

Our nurse friend that's in administration at John Muir told me this weekend how they are shuffling staff around and flexing full time nurses to 'covid related duties' and bringing in temps to fill their normal roles just to get extra federal and state funding even though they only have 9 active covid patients.
It's all a money game.
And a county police officer told me something similar. They are working 7 days on and 14 days off since the department is able to get all overtime covered by the feds.
